Our Friends of Canada 'Welfare Network' is cooperating with Canadian ambassador, Robert Peck, to assist the Asylon Aniaton (http://www.asylonaniaton.gr/ ) in Kipseli. Adult disposable diapers are desperately needed for several of the residents with disabilities; if you could possibly bring a package to the upcoming Canada Night, it would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: We had a wonderful turn-out of over 80 people to celebrate our casual pre-Easter gathering. After enjoying a hearty 4-euro Lenten snack plate, we listened to Canadian ambassador to Greece, Robert Peck's, warm address, additionally graced by the presence of Maria Pantazi-Peck, and embassy staff members Zoe Delibasis and Julie Papanicolaou. Coordinator Kathryn Lukey-Coutsocostas led an original game - 'Canadians on the spot' - before everyone left with a smile on their faces, warmed by the thought of their good deeds, since everyone had very generously donated items for those in need.
